Amanda Diatta

Since becoming a state-approved teacher for gymnastics & sports, Amanda has gained 15 years’ professional experience in the fitness sector.

Along with continuing education in Spiraldynamik®, certification as a personal trainer, and approval as a back-exercise teacher, Amanda completed her Pilates training in 2009 with Davorka Kulenovic at the studio ‘Pilates New York’, in the original method. After working as a freelance trainer in various studios, Amanda established her own: CONTROLOGY Pilates Studio in downtown Stuttgart, which opened its doors in October 2014.

In 2017, Amanda graduated from advanced teacher training ‘The Red Thread®’ in the USA. By regularly attending masterclasses with renowned instructors like Kathryn Ross-Nash, Peter Fiasca, Lori Coleman-Brown, and Chris Robinson, Amanda continuously expands her knowledge, which she incorporates into her teaching with joy and enthusiasm.

Amanda’s passion for all types of movement also sparked her interest in ELDOA. Since 2021, she has successfully completed the requirements for ELDOA 1 to 3.

 
 
 
 

Jutta Üffinger

Jutta took her first Pilates class in 2000. She has been practicing the method ever since. But it wasn’t until she completed her university degree in interpretation that she dedicated herself completely to working with the body.

In 2006, she became a certified massage therapist in the USA and then, in 2007, began the Pilates instructor training in Spain, with Gabriela Solini. From 2007 to 2019, Jutta worked with Gabriela Solini at City Pilates Madrid, and as an assistant instructor at Movimiento Pilates, focusing on anatomy. During this time, she attended workshops and received continuing education on various topics (including pregnancy and scoliosis) in Spain and in the USA.

From 2012 to 2019, Jutta also practiced Ashtanga Yoga – first as a student and from 2017 as an assistant teacher. Since 2019, Jutta has been living in Stuttgart. She is keen to keep learning new things and to become ever more familiar with movement and the human body.

 
 
 
 

Oihane Herrero

Oihane was born in Bilbao, Spain. She moved to Stuttgart in 1995 to complete her ballet training at John Cranko Schule. From 1997 through the end of 2013 she danced with Stuttgarter Ballett, most recently as a soloist.

After an ankle injury, she was introduced to classical Pilates, which helped her strengthen her body and protect herself against further injuries.  After completing her ballet career, her experiences with the classical Pilates method inspired her to learn more about it, and pursue a profession in this area. Oihane was educated as a Pilates trainer by Davorka Kulenovic at “Pilates New York” (Stuttgart), and also completed certification as a Gyrotonic® Level 1 trainer, with Sergio Honorio at “Dynamic Arts” (Freiburg).

Oihane regularly attends Pilates workshops in Germany and abroad. She expands her professional skills by studying Myofascial Release and Fascia Training, among other disciplines.

 
 
 
 

Isabel Moser

In search of a training method to strengthen her core and gain more flexibility, Isabel discovered classical Pilates for herself. After a short time, her back problems disappeared and the holistic approach absolutely won her over. That’s why she became a certified trainer in the “Pilates Method of Body Conditioning” with Davorka Kulenovic in Stuttgart.

Isabel continues to expand her knowledge in regular seminars and individual lessons with renowned Pilates trainers, at home and abroad.

She has also completed ELDOA Level 1 and 2. To understand the human body and its functions even better, Isabel is currently attending the Thalamus School of Naturopathy in Stuttgart.

In addition to teaching Pilates, Isabel offers classic back massage for relaxation.

 
 
 
 

James Selwood

James Selwood was born in Germany and has been travelling the world since his arrival. So far he has lived in 7 countries and has had the chance to expand on his British roots through experiencing many different cultures.

He studied and certified as a photographer in Canterbury, England and soon after found his way to pilates, having been inspired by his mothers work.

Since he endeavoured into learning the intention of Joseph Pilates he understands the importance of this wonderful method and how it assists humans to grow both mentally and physically.

Pilates has changed his body, mind, breathing and posture which he is now eager to pass on to others too.

 
 
 
 

Yara Hermann

Yara was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and grew up there. She came to Germany and completed a apprenticeship as a tailor and fashion designer. In 2002 she first encountered the Pilates method - and was so thrilled that she decided to work towards becoming a trainer. Since 2004 she has been working independently as a certified Pilates trainer according to Joseph Pilates' original "Method of Body Conditioning" . She gives individual lessons on all equipment and group courses in Pilates floor exercises. She is passionate about caring for people individually and accompanying them in refining their body awareness.

Her Pilates experience is complemented by her yoga teacher training with a focus on Yin Yoga, also known as Fascia Yoga, and Biodynamic Craniosacral Bodywork, a gentle way to relax and balance the body. She regularly attends workshops and takes lessons herself with internationally renowned Pilates trainers.
